TaxPro Group specializes in full HR and payroll support for businesses of various ownership forms in the Czech Republic and across the EU.
We handle all operational tasks — from preparing employment contracts, calculating salaries and taxes, to preparing and submitting reports to state authorities. We issue orders, employment contracts, amendments, and archive all documents in accordance with local legal requirements. Special attention is paid to protecting employee personal data — all processes comply with GDPR and modern information security standards.
HR administration (Evidence zaměstnanců) covers all administrative procedures related to the employee lifecycle in a company:
— Hiring employees in the Czech Republic. We verify the right to work for foreign nationals (work permit, employee card, temporary protection), prepare and sign an employment contract (pracovní smlouva) or agreements outside employment relationships (DPP/DPČ), and within 8 days of starting work, register the employee with social security (ČSSZ) and health insurance (Zdravotní pojišťovna).
— Personnel documentation management. After creating an employee file, we maintain working time records (timesheets), process vacations, sick leave (neschopenka), time off, and prepare orders regarding bonuses, changes in working conditions, etc.
— Termination of employment. This includes preparing termination documents, deregistering the employee from insurance authorities, and providing the required certificates for the Labour Office and pension fund.
Payroll accounting (Mzdová účetnictví) ensures correct and timely calculation and payment of all taxes and contributions related to salaries, including:
— Monthly payroll calculation. Calculation of gross salary according to the employment contract and hours worked, deductions (income tax, social and health insurance), and net salary payable to the employee.
— Calculation and payment of taxes and contributions. Calculation of personal income tax (DPFO): 15% or 23% depending on income level. Social insurance contributions paid by both employer and employee (employees additionally pay a 0.6% sickness insurance contribution from 2025). Health insurance contributions paid by both sides. Tax benefits and allowances (for taxpayer, children, spouse, etc.) must also be considered.
Reporting includes monthly submissions to ČSSZ and health insurance companies, and the annual tax return for the employee (the employer may file it on their behalf if they have no additional income).
Outsourcing HR and payroll is a popular way to reduce the administrative burden on business owners. Most small and medium-sized S.R.O. and OSVČ in the Czech Republic choose this approach due to the complexity of Czech labour and tax legislation and its frequent updates.
